The cage is open. We only have to notice it.
I think most of us have made ourselves comfortable in a golden cage. It is cosy, it is safe, and because everything shines and glitters, we hardly notice the walls around us or the threads that hold us in place.
But often one small move is enough to cut those threads. Sometimes the door was never locked at all. It's a bit like Plato's cave: we take what we know for the whole world, until someone turns around.
